story of the name: Betty’s name was originally Arthur, he was a gay shark who couldn’t fit into the society and decided to have a sex change and to make a bunch of tattoos to be a rock’n’roll bitch. He became Betty The Shark. The band was created in 2004 in Biarritz, France by 3 weird kids who were singing about riding their mopads and being sad bad and glad, and doing Hip Hop and dance battles in their living room. After highschool, Philip and Christina moved to NYC and Lee-Ann went on to be a pro surfer. But they are still playing and making some little songs you can appreciate on this blog.
